Skills Camp (July 20-22, 2009) This camp is designed for beginner to intermediate level players andwill offer instruction and training in the skills and techniques ofpassing, setting, attacking, serving and defense. Emphasis is placed ondeveloping court movement and ball control, as well as gamecompetition. A variety of drills, games and competition will be used toput these techniques into practice. Campers are divided by age, skilllevel and experience onto courts, which provide the optimal learningenvironment. This camp session is geared for athletes ages 11-16. Thefee includes tuition, housing, all meals, camp T-shirt and a CAROLINA VOLLEYBALL!

Elite Setter Camp (July 17-19, 2009) This camp is designed as an intensive training opportunity for intermediate to advanced level volleyball players looking to improvetheir setting skills. It is recommended that athletes registered for thiscamp have at least 1 year of JV or Varsity level playing experience.This 7 session camp will be an intensive setter training including handposition and release, footwork, jump setting and offensive systems. As we did last summer, we will run a hitter/libero camp on the last 2 days of EliteSetter Camp so the setters will get the opportunity to work on settinglive hitters. This camp is a great addition to the Nike High PotentialCamp or the College Prep Skills Camp. The fee includes tuition, housing,all meals and a camp T-shirt.

Hitter/Libero Camp (July 18-19,2009) These minicamps are designed for the player interested in specialized training. Each camp is geared for the beginning to intermediate or advanced level female athlete, where players are grouped by skills and experience.This camp is a two-day (4 sessions) training camp and conducted in Fetzer Gym and Woollen Gym on the campus of the University of NorthCarolina. The fee includes tuition, housing (one night), three meals and a camp T-shirt.

Beach Training Camp (July 18-19 AND July 27-28, 2009) One of the best camps of 2008 is back! Due to the popularity of Beach Volleyball and the amazing benefits training in the sand adds to indoor volleyball players Carolina Volleyball Camps decided to offer this funnew camp. The camp will be held at the sand volleyball courts at theOutdoor Education Center on the campus of the University of NorthCarolina. Carolina Advanced Skills Camp (July 23-26, 2008) This camp proved to be our most popular camp again in 2008! The Carolina Advanced Skills Camp will cater to the volleyball player that is looking for a more intense camp experience where she can work on improving all of her volleyball skills. Coaches at this camp will be collegiate level coaches and athletes. This 8 session camp is designedfor intermediate to advanced players looking to make their high school Varsity team. This camp will offer advanced instruction in the skillsof passing, setting, attacking, serving and defense. Athletes in grades 9-12 are encouraged to register. Note we recommend that participants inthis camp are experienced and have played at least one full year ofcompetitive volleyball on a varsity, JV, or USAV junior team. The feeincludes tuition, housing (three nights), all meals and camp T-shirt.If you can't make it to the Nike Camp, this is the camp to attend.

Position Skills Camp (July 31- Aug 2, 2009) Thiscamp is focused on training players in their specialized skill positions (outside hitter, middle hitter, setter, libero/defensive specialist). There will be skill training, conditioning and competition. Open to girls in grades 7-12. Players will be grouped by appropriate skill levels and experience. This is a three day camp (6 sessions) and includes tuition, housing, all meals and camp T-shirt.
